Additive Lens provides food-additive information to help you understand ingredient lists. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or individualized dietary guidance.

The app does not provide an overall food safety assessment, does not determine a product's legality, and does not conclude that a food is suitable for a particular person. Seek a qualified professional for personal medical or dietary concerns.

Accuracy, packaging, and sources

OCR and additive matching errors can occur. Verify every result against the original product packaging and use your own judgment before making food decisions.

Information and source assessments may change when FDA, EFSA, WHO/JECFA, manufacturers, or other organizations update their materials. Availability of a source does not mean that Additive Lens or the source organization endorses a product.

Acceptable use

Misuse is prohibited. Do not automate bulk use, evade scan allowances, interfere with security, attack the service, submit unlawful material, or use Additive Lens in a way that harms others.
